From a question to real understanding
Your child asks. Doja finds a safe, age-right video, checks what they learned with a quiz, and shows you their progress. Here's each step.
Step 1
Ask out loud
Your child taps the glowing orb and simply says what they're curious about — “how do volcanoes erupt?” — or taps one of the topic planets. No typing, no searching.
Doja listens, shows what it heard, and works out the topic in a couple of seconds.
Step 2
Doja finds the right video
Doja looks through YouTube's safe-search results and checks every candidate: Is it made for kids? Is it the right length for their grade? Does it actually teach the topic?
Videos from trusted education channels like SciShow Kids, Periwinkle and Dr. Binocs get priority.
Step 3
Watch and learn
The lesson plays right inside DojaBot. A glowing ring around the video fills up as your child watches, so they can see their progress.
Finish the video and Doja celebrates with them. Want more? “Explore more” suggests related topics.
Step 4
Take a 10-question quiz
Right after the video, Doja makes ten friendly multiple-choice questions, easiest first — built from what was said in the video whenever its transcript is available.
Answers light up green or red instantly, and the score is saved for the parent dashboard.
Step 5
Parents see the progress
The parent dashboard shows learning time, videos watched, quizzes completed and the current learning streak — plus which subjects are strong and which need practice.
Doja also writes a short, plain-English summary of the week with a suggestion for what to practise next.

Every search uses YouTube's strictest safety filter.
Made for kids
For grades 1–6, only videos YouTube marks as made for kids — or from our trusted channels — can be picked.
Right length
No Shorts, and no hour-long lectures. Grades 1–3 get videos under 10 minutes.
Trusted channels
Channels are verified by their YouTube ID, so look-alike copycat channels don't get the boost.
AI double-check
Doja ranks the remaining videos on whether they truly teach the topic at the right level — not just on clicks.
Questions parents ask
What ages is DojaBot for?
Grades 1 to 12. The video filters and quiz wording adjust to the grade you set when you sign up, and are strictest for younger children.
Does my child need to read or type?
No. Children speak their question and Doja does the rest. Voice works best in Chrome and Edge; if the microphone isn't available, they can tap a topic planet instead.
Where do the videos come from?
From YouTube, filtered and ranked by Doja. Once a great video is found for a topic, it's remembered so other children asking the same thing get it straight away.
Will my child get the same video twice?
Doja remembers what your child has already finished and offers the next-best video for that topic instead.
Who can see my child's learning data?
Only your family's account. Each account can read and write only its own profile, sessions and quiz results.
What does the parent dashboard show?
Total learning time, videos watched, quizzes completed, the learning streak, strong and weak subjects, topics to focus on, and an AI-written weekly summary.
